Our Beliefs
The Bible
The Scriptures are verbally inspired by God to man and are the only infallible authority for all mankind. (2 Timothy 3:15-17)
God
One eternal God revealed in three Persons (Trinity) and existing in unity. Each member of the Trinity is God and a distinct Person. (Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 28:19)
Deity of Jesus Christ
God’s Son was human and divine. His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, substitutionary work on the cross, resurrection of His body, and ascension to the right hand of the Father has established Him as our eternal High Priest. He will return to earth a second time in power and glory to receive His redeemed church. (Philippians 2:6-11)
The Blood of Christ
The only redeeming work of God is the Blood of Christ. Through it, man can be cleansed from sin through repentance and faith. (Romans 3:24-26)
Holy Spirit
The third Person of the Trinity exercises the power of the Father and Son. He brings the heart of man to redemption, lives within the believer and reveals Christ. (John 15:26)
Divine Healing
The healing of the body was provided for on the cross through Christ’s atonement. (Isaiah 53:4-5)
Baptism of the Holy Spirit
The promised work of the Holy Spirit is available to all asking believers in Christ for witnessing and is evidenced by the “speaking in other tongues”. (Acts 2:4)
Holy Life Before God
God commands us that we live a holy life. This can only be done through the redeeming work of the cross and the power of the Holy Spirit. (1 Peter 1:15-16)
The Blessed Hope
The church will be “caught up” at Christ’s second coming. (1Thessalonians 4:16-17)
Resurrection
Everyone will be resurrected; those who have chosen Christ to eternal life, and those who have not to everlasting damnation. (Matthew 25:46)
